I have taught 5th grade here in the Sylvania Schools for 17 years. Having taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7 & 8th grade students at three different districts throughout my career, I can confidently say that Sylvania is the best district to be employed and 5th grade students are my favorite! I am excited to be working with your children and really making a difference in their lives.
My teaching methodology's main objective is to inspire learning of content through developing skills necessary for students to explore and draw intelligent conclusions independently. I want to inspire my students to explore content through teamwork with their peers. I also encourage goal setting where appropriate and providing teachable moments through creative lesson planning.
